5. Test Drives — Rules & Responsibilities
By booking or undertaking a test drive with NORTH Motor, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
- You must hold a valid, current Australian driver's licence (or equivalent recognised licence) appropriate for the class of vehicle being driven. A copy of your licence will be retained for our records.
- You must comply with all applicable road laws, including the Road Traffic Act 1974 (WA), the Road Traffic (Administration) Act 2008 (WA), and any other relevant Western Australian or Commonwealth legislation during the test drive.
- The driver is solely responsible for any traffic infringements, fines, or penalties incurred during the test drive, including but not limited to speeding, red-light violations, and parking offences.
- The driver is liable for any damage to the vehicle arising from their negligence, reckless driving, or failure to comply with traffic laws during the test drive. This includes damage to the vehicle, third-party property, and any associated costs.
- NORTH Motor reserves the right to refuse a test drive at its absolute discretion, including where we reasonably believe the driver poses a safety risk.
- Test drives must follow the route and conditions specified by NORTH Motor staff. Unauthorised use of the vehicle is strictly prohibited.
6. Limitation of Liability & Disclaimer
- All vehicles are sold "as is" unless otherwise expressly stated in writing. While we endeavour to provide accurate vehicle descriptions, photographs, and specifications, we do not warrant that all information is complete or error-free.
- Information on this website is provided for general purposes only and does not constitute professional, financial, or legal advice. You should make your own enquiries and obtain independent professional advice where appropriate.
- The client is responsible for conducting their own due diligence, including independent inspections, mechanical assessments, PPSR checks, and vehicle history verification before purchasing any vehicle.

- Clients must comply with all NORTH Motor business rules, safety instructions, and any reasonable directions given by our staff, as well as all applicable Western Australian and Commonwealth laws.
- In the event of an at-fault accident during a test drive, the client may be held liable for the insurance excess and any uninsured losses, including diminished value, towing, and administrative costs.
- Clients must not misrepresent their identity, licence status, or any material information when engaging with our services.
8. Third-Party Disclosure
We may share your personal information with the following third parties where necessary:
- Finance partners and lenders (for processing finance applications)
- Insurance providers (for vehicle insurance and warranty purposes)
